mission Circle Makes Good

The 'Young Ladies Mission Circle' of the Christian Church, at the time of the raising of funds to build the new structure, agreed to pay $10. SB their share and last Friday evening they gave a "Sock Social" realizing over $11. in the venture. It is an 'on honor' affair andisconducted in the] following manner: On approaching the entrance to the building 3rou are banded a miniature sock in which you are to deposit twice the number of pennies or their equivalents in nickels or dimes to correspond with the size of the hose worn. The entertainment is provocative of I much good natured sallies all of which are taken in the spirit given.
