Andersonville The Christmas holidays in this community were marked by the usual homecomings, family din ner parties, frolicking among the younger set. and exchange of neighborly visits. Mrs. C. B. Morgan had all of her children and grandchildren with her at one time or another during the holidays. Miss Billie from Alexandria. Miss Rita from Fairfax, and Miss Louise and Dick. The Garrett family spent Friday there and the Cowans ar rived Monday. For the first Christmas, since farther back than anyone in the community seems able to remem ber, the Flood home, usually the scene of so much activity and gaiety, had its front door locked and bolted while Mrs. Flood and Fred spent the day in Richmond with the Poats and DuVal fami lies. The two Christian boys were at home for the holidays. Ernest. Jr., who is stationed in Norfolk, and a friend from Texas, spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Christian.
