The idea was re ferred to the women of the indiv idual churches

As outlined, the women could contribute money for material or new clothing, old material scraps or used garments, or sew some garments in their own homes. The local council collected 40 hymn books for use in the chapels oi stat< institutions, and decided to send a contribution to the child care center on the Eastern shore. Date of May Fellowship day was changed to May 24, at Farm ville Presbyterian church. Dr. Earl Boggs will speak on "The Church and Education." and Farmville H. h School Tri-Hi-Y members will present the pro gram . Announcement was made of the council's quarterly clothing drive, to be held May 6. Donations may be left at Farm He Presbyterian church to be picked up that day.
