Music Festival At Buckingham To Be May 3 The Buckingham county schools annual music festival will be held Friday. May 3, at 8 p. m. at Cen tral High School. The theme will be 'Tfce Jamestown Landing.’ Costumes of the early James town period were designed bv Kenneth Newton, art director of the Buckingham schools. The mu sic program was written, and will be directed by E. Bruce Knapp, director of music. Mrs. Katie K. Austin, Elementary supervisor, will coordinate he program. Schools participating are: Ar vonia Elementary, Buckingham Elementary. Dillwyn Elementary, and Buckingham Central High School. There will be a slight, ad m ssion charge. Buckingham's annual music festival is the culminating ac tivity for the music program. Various activities done in the classrooms are brought together to form this presentation.
