At St. Mary's (German Catholic") there were three masses at the honrs of five, half-past seven and half-past ten. Father Meyer, the sole pastor, in consequence of his arduous duties, did not deliver any discourse. The altar was beautifully dressed with green and flowers, and lighted with gxeat brilliancy and beauty. Vespers were chanted in the after noon, and the benediction of the blessed sa crament performed.
