Monograms Given Amelia Gridders Coach Jimmy Thompson last week awarded 1952 football monograms, stars and captain chevrons to members of the Ame lia High School football squad Among the group were nine seniors, whose vacant places will be one of Coach Thompson's problems when fall rolls around. Those winning letters for the first time received "A monograms. For those with two oi more years of varsity play, stars were award ed for use on their letters. Seniors receiving awards were Co-Captain Charles Warren, star: Tommy O'Neil, letter: Leon Mc Cormick. star: Curtis Hamer, star: Bill Fleming, letter: Tom Golden, letter: Johnny Vance, star: Jim Nolen, letci, and Harry Warren, letter.
