Judith Randolph Members Honored Three former members of Ju dith Randolph chapter. Daugh ters of the American Revolution, were honored at the memorial service in Roanoke in March. As their names were called, Mrs. Graves H. Thompson, chapter re gent, laced flowers in the memor ial wreath for Mrs. J. W. Garnett. Mrs. J. A. Garland and Miss Wil helmina London. Judith Randolph chapter was listed on the state honor roll. The report on work the chapter had sponsored included distribution and use of constitution week ma terials. Jamestown emphasis and marking the grave of Judith Ran dolph. Special mention was given to one of the members, Mrs. R. B Crawford, through whose efforts the fortieth chapter of the Socie ty of the Children of the Ameri can Revolution was organized in Farmville. Mrs. Crawford, vice regent of the chapter, served on thei; state conference credentials committee.

Long'wood Freshmen To Present Play An original play, written and directed by Miss Amy McFall of Warwick, a freshman at Long wood College, will be presented by the freshman class on Friday in Jarman Auditorium, beginning • at 8 p. m. The play, a one-act remedy j called "Derby Doings”, is based j on events in the lives of Miss Mc Fall's grandparents, and centers ‘ around their attending the Ken tucky Derby. All of the acting, props, direction and work in con nection with the play will be done by members of the freshman class.
