The Reverend Hackney is a native of North Carolina and a graduate of Elon College and the Louisville Seminary. He was pastor near Richmond and later entered the Navy as chaplain. After serving in the navy he was pastor for 3 years of the Siler City Baptist church, Siler City, N. C.. recently coming to serve in Pamplin.
Hi; wife is the former Miss Estelle Councilman. She was a foreign missionary for five years in South America. She served for 2 years in Argentina and 3 years in Asuncion, Paraguay.
The public is cordially invited to attend the revival. Services will be held on Monday night in the Baptist church.
