The Culpepe* Soil Conservation District' each year sponsor* a poster contest, in which any student enrolled in the public school of Culpeper, Orange, Green, Madiaui or Rappahannock is eligible to enter.

Posters are the original work of the students and cash awards were gifen each grade in the county.
