An informal reception -was hell by the Auxiliary to * Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Sperryville, at “Apple Tree Cottage,” the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Hening, in honor of the new pastor, the Rev. John Frizfcell, and his family, ^ Mrs. Frizzell and three children.
The invited guests included members of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, ministers and their families from the town of Sperryville, and friends and neighbors in the Sperryville vicinity.
Held in the patio of Apple Tree Cottage, the reception afforded an opportunity for the new minister to meet the Sperryvillians in an in* formal atmosphere.
