Mrs Floyd Riley gave a farewell dinner for her son, Floyd Jr.

Sunday April 28. Floyd jr. is leaving for induction in the army May 1st.

Dorothy Ann Moore was pitcher in the soft hall game played at Flint Hill school Wednesday afternoon. The girls in grade seven paved those of Hume school and defeated them' with a score of 21 to 18. The boys were beaten by the Hume team 12-4 with Earl Lillard pitching.
