Same 300 ” mdnbere “of Snead family coming from as far as Texas, Alabama and New York met at Fork Union June 21 toil 22 for tbe second family reunion. The first one was held in 1909.
They were all decendents of* three (Snead) brothers who marrid three (Pollard) sisters back in 1824, *2S, and ’28. The marriages resulted in 26 children, including 21 sons to carry on the (Snead) family name.
Kicking off the reunion was a dinner Saturday at the Fork Union Military Academy. Speakers at the dinner included such (Snead) notables as Justke'Harold F. (Snead) of the state Supreme Court of Appeals; Circuit Court Judge Rayner V. (Snead), 9f Washington, y*»* «k1 Joseph P. (Snead) • * --*****
