made for two swimming classes to be started Monday June 30 if suds plans meet with the approval of die people who contributed to the Old HollaW swimming fund L. 1952. f • There was a balance of about $30 left in the bank*8fter last work was done and it is the hope of Mrs. Helen Kilby and Mrs. JEtaL iVharfrrrtttfcJthii ■ mmm may be used for instructors and supplies for * this proposed .water safety program. The program will not be conducted by the Red Cross because of the difficulty in securing licensed Red Cross instructors.
The classes, trill consist of 7 periods. Class 1, conducted by Miss Peggy Pillar for non-swimmers, 8 years or younger, will be held at the wading pool at the I* J. Kilby home. Class 2, conducted by_. Rev. Ed Nicholson for our most advanced Swimmers (teens and adults) will be held.at Kilby’s pond, it is hoped that this group will be advanced enough by another year to begin hie saving. •
