An unfamiliar white, cacoon like stage of an insect found in T. V. William’s orchard has been*identified by Dr. Hill of die, Winchester Fruit Research Laboratory as ‘’another kind of leaf miner.” Abo Recording to George Williams, jAsdojd Extension Horticulturist, “It is| quite different from the one we ha(ve been finding in Rappahannock County and a fairly rare type ip this area. The same control measures will apply to. this insect that control the other one, malathion, parathion, etc. Nothing should.be done about it now, but we will have to watch it next year.’l r •.... ■ •'
