illness. N
Deceased 79 years* of age was the son of the bite William Jackson of Rappahannock County, Va. He is survived by ooe daughter, Miss Dorothy Jackson, Amissville one son, Charles Jackson of Washington, D. C., two sixers, Mrs. Lou Powell and Mrs. Pearl Harriston of Braddock, Pa., four brothers, Horace Jackson, Amissville, James Jackson and Roy Jackson ‘ of Reading, Pa. .
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 4th at 2 P.M. from the Bethel Baptist Church at Amissville, with interment in the churdh cemetery. Reverend L. B. Banks conducted the. last rites.
Active pallbearers were George Ficklin, Boyd Brown, Paul Brown ' Wilson Jefferies, Howard Lawson and George Brown.
Christmas Day dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Lewis were Misses Virginia. Mae, and Betsye Lewis, Charles Lewis, James Lewis and Andrew Lewis.
Mr* awfl"Mrs. Raleigh Fitzhugh and son Lloyd of Brooklyn, N, Y. spent Christmas with Mrs. Mary Fitzhugh.
Mrs. Roberta Russell and Mrs. Fannie Jackson spent the holidays in Washington, D. C. with relatives and friends.
Mrs. J. P. Williams and two ^-daughters of Washington, D.- C. -v were recent visitors in Sperryville.
Mrs. Margaret Sadler of New .York was the holiday guest of her mother Mrs. Susie B. Majors.
