During all the commotion. Mis. Menefee ran next door to get the Buntins and in a few minutes Sheriff Critzer arrived to find out that the two gtrtmge men had indeed rented a room in Washington, but not from Miss Margaret. They had mistakenly gotten in the wrong house.
No charges were made and Mis Margaret with a smile said, "They say most old maids look under the. r bed, for a rxr, but I found one right in min<.” At one time you left your front door open so your friends could walk in, but^ take heed friends, that day is gone—lock your door.
