PEN/ Part-Time EN / LPN Eight physician orthopaedic practice is recruiting tor a PRN/ Part-Time Registered Nurse/ Licensed Practical Nurse tor our state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical center. Previous operating room experience highly preferred - wilting to train the exceptional candidate. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are necessary. This is an unique opportunity tor the right candidate to grow in skill and knowledge of perioperative nursing. Applicants with preoperative, postoperative, and critical care skills are an asset, position requires current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia. BLS and ACLS are required. Duties to include: Patient and new patient registration, updating existing patient accounts, patient checkout and appointment scheduling for a busy fast paced work environment Knowledge of health insurance is a plus.
