Chaboe of Assault.— Joseph Saddler was I arraigned before the Mayor yesterday morn ing, charged with an assault upon a police man, at the house of T. B. Fletcher, where he was employed, between 3 and 4 o'clock yester day morning. Saddler had an ugly gash upon his head, which rather gave the impres sion that he was the party assaulted.
