meeting of this society was held last evening | at the Medical College, Professor Joynes presi ding. The organization of the Academy was completed by the adoption of a constitution and by-laws, reported by Dr. Houston, chairman of the committee appointed at a previous meet ing to draft them. One of the provisions of the constitution, as reported, forbid the mem bers of the Academy to patronize druggists who deal in patent medicines, but this provi sion was stricken out.
The next meeting of the Academy will be held on the first Thursday in January.
