The Rev. Lewis Cockcrill, pastor of the Farmviilc Weslevan Methodist Church, is the new president of the Farmviile Minis terial Association, succeeding the Rev. James R. Kennedy. The Association extended an official welcome to the Rev. Charles O Kidd. Methodist | u.> tor. who has been in tile com munity since October but was meeting with the group m offi cial session for the first time. Rev. Mr. Kidd was also chosen Association secretary. The ministers made plans for the annual series ol pre-Easter services, to open Monday. March 30. and also granted approval to community church youth to again sponsor the Easter sunrise service. The Associations new leader. Rev. Mr. Cockcrill, came to the charge here in 1949. A native of Arlington. Va . he received his ministerial degree at Marion Col leg. Marion. 111. He was ordained to Elders Orders in tne Wesleyan Methodist Church two years ago.
