Southside Health District resi dents were reminded today that a few simple precautions should be observed in guarding against spread of flu which. Dr. H. E. Jenkins said, has hit greater num bers than usual, but is not yet in epidemic proportions. The district health officer said the type prevelant in this area starts as the common cold, then turns to nnld flu lasting three to four days. The number of cases lias not required any epidemic precautions and has not been sufficient to justify closing of any schools in the district. It is prevalant enough and enfeebling enough, however, to deserve wide public attention. Dr. Jenkins feels.
