A dinner meeting of the board of directors and their wives and various committees of the Cum berland County Farm Bureau Federation was held at the Cum berland Restaurant. Thursday evening, Jan. 15. Charles Good man. president, introduced the speaker of the evening. Alden E. Flory. manager of the Virginia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company. Mr. Flory is the new co-ordi nator for Cumberland and seven adjoining counties and will be working with the boards of di rectors and committees in this district for the coming year to help strengthen and broaden the work of the Bureau Mr. Flory's address was both in formative and inspiring, in that he gave a complete outline of the year's work in the form of a questionnaire, stressing the im portance of strength at the coun ty level, as the strength of the state, as well as the National Federation, depends entirely on the combined strength ol the county units.
