The president, Mrs. H. T. Har rison. presided. During the busi ness meeting, she suggested that the P-TA sponsor a supper at the Cartersville Commanity House. Feb. 14. The P-TA agreed, and the following committee was named to plan the supper—Mrs. Ruth Garnage. Mrs. William San derson and Mrs. Morris Keller. The meeting was turned over to tiie Study Group Chairman. Mrs. Prank Baber. She introduced the subject — "Potential Teaching Aids," and after a brief discus sion presented four speakers for a panel discussion. The first was Mrs. H C. Gilliam, whose subject was "Is Your School a Good School?" ‘Television — Problems and Possibilities" wav discussed by Mrs. Ruth Garnage. Mrs. W. E. Pepjier had a two-fold subjects— Why Do Teaching Methods Change" and "Parents Can Help Educate Their Children." Mrs. J. M Barker talked about, the values of "Parent-Teacher Conferences.’’ The lively general discussion u hich followed each speaker was proof of the inspiring nature of the talks and of the genuine in terest of the other members pre sent.
