New Container Saves Milk in Cold or Heat CHICAGO—Whether a housewife lives in Butte, Mont or Mobile, Ala , she no longer has to worry about spoilage of door-delivered milk, because of a new metal con tainer which protects milk from sizzling heat or bitter cold, hours after it is delivered. The container is able to protect milk cartons or bottles from freez ing or spoiling, because it is in sulated with a layer of vermiculitd, a material also used for house fill insulation. Tlte box comes in sizes large enough to hold four, six, or eight bottles. It is constructed of galvan ized steel, is water-tight, and has a cover which prevents contam ination by dogs, cats, or insects. Tests have shown that milk placed in the container will not freeze in less than four hours, even when the temperature is 10 dcgiccs above zero.
