Deborah Charles, at the Farmville hospital John Craddock was taken sud denly ill Tuesday morning and rushed tthe Farmville hospital where he was placed under an axygen tent. Mr Craddock had seemed as well as usual and. as was his custom, had opened the store for hi.s daughter. Mrs. W. L. Price, at six o'clock a. m. McFarland celebrated her birthday on Jan uary 19. with a gathering of the relatives On Sunday they held a reception in the home C. F. Mc Farland. Jr , of Alexandria, and Mrs L I Nunnally, of Richmond, came Saturday night. Mrs. Mc Farland received many beauti ful and useful presents and many cards. Mrs. G W Palmer is having each member of her class at Sunday School teach one Sunday. Graham Raiford taught last Sun day and his work was .so excel lent we think they plan to give him a class of hi.s own.
