Conditions of eligibility and pro cedure for applying for the scho larship awaid were announced this week by the Scholarship Committee ul Lynchburg College. .To be eligible, a student must be an entering freshman from one of seven counties in the Lynch burg area or from the City ot Lynchburg. He must have a dem onstrated interest in conservation as a career, show a good scho lastic record, and have personal characteristics essential far ef fective work in the field of con servation. Counties included in the Lynch burg area, for purposes of award ing the scholarship, are Bucking ham. Ahihcrst, Appomattox. Bed for. Campbell and Nelson Applicants must till out an in dividual application blank which may be obtained from the ad missions office at the college. They must be able to furnish throe references other than then high school principal and a tran script of their high school work on a form provided by the col lege.
