Mr. Link, broken down by the constant “It’s such a nice day— let’s go to the Courthouse,’’ his daily welcome to Government class—gave the Seniors permission to go on Monday.
However^ because the accused pleaded guilty, court was not held, so the pupils began their tour by attending for a short time, a census meeting. They then visited the Commissioner of Revenue’s office; the county agent’s office; and the Home Demonstration Agent’s office, where they enjoyed a brief but thorough speech by Miss Sollenberger.
At the clerk’s office, they were allowed to look up severa' wills, deeds and marriage licenses.
In the treasurer’s office tax books and dog tags shared the limelight.
Next stop on the town was the First National Bank, where several questions which had to be answered in class were answered by Mrs. Bruce, and Mr. Johnson demonstrated the sound of a bur... glar alarm.
After looking through the county jail the Seniors hurried back
