A movie, “The Adventures of Rusty,’-’ was enjoyed by the pupils of Sperryville High School on Tuesday afternoon.
Visitors At S.H.S.
Monday was visitors day—-or so it seemed at S.H.S.—for Mr. Vanderslice, of Strayers Business College. came to talk to the juniors : «nd seniors; and a member of the Oulpbper Lions club, along with a number of Sperry\ille firemen, . met at the school to make final arrangements for the minstrel, show which was given Tuesday evening at the S.H.S. auditorium.
Baseball Season Opens
Baseball practice is in full sway at Sperryville. New gloves, balls and bats are in evidence. The air is full of arguments, both pro and con, as to whether the diamond should be scraped. The “cons” have it at present.
