W.S.C.S. Meets
Mrs. Carl Carpenter of Huntly was hostess to the Woman s Society of Christian Service, Thursday evening. The business of the evening included the election of new officers with Mrs Paul Miller as president, Mrs. G. W. Smith, vice president, Mrs. Frank Cary treasurer, Mrs. M. R. Bradford secretary. A financial report was given and it was decided to try to give an average of two cents a day per person for missions in the , coming year, as asked by the district treasurer.
discussion on the spiritual condition of the local churfh followed the business meeting and most of the members took' part in the program, led by Mrs. Carpenter. Mrs C. G. Reid of Washington is to be hostess for the month of June. Mrs. Carpenter served refreshments during the social hour.
