You are hereby notified that a tract of land assessed in the name of Charles Pendleton and located on the “Old Tobacco Road,” near AmissVille, in Jackson Magisterial District, Rappahannock County, Virginia, was sold on the 20th day of March, 1943, for delinquent tazea,i .levies, interest and costs for th« year 1940 to the Commonwealth of Virginia, and has been sold for delinquent taxes, levies, interest and costs each year < since 1943 through the, year 1953, and said taxes for the years 1953. 1954 and 1955 have not been paid, and application for the purchase thereof has been filed in this office. And it appearing from the records in this office that you are interested in j said land, you are further notified to appear in four months from jthe date of this notice and do what jnay be necessary to protect your interest.
