On this Thanksgiving Day, as the tamily gainers aoout the table, as Father carves the turkey while Mother serves the creamed onions and the juniors pass the cranberry sauce and the pickles, while we make merry and enjoy the good things at the feast, in the silent part of our minds there will be a thought for those whose lives have so enriched our own, whose sacrifice and service have made this Day possible for us.
And let us resolve that we in our turn will pass on to “'those who come after us a tradition of faith in our way of life, of courage, of human decency and spiritual living that will prove us worthy of the great American tradition.
