Mr. John Pullen of Washington, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Pullen left Monday for Fort Jackson, South Carolina where he will take eight weeks of basic training. From there he will go to Fort Lee --at Petersburg for fourteen weeks of quartermaster schooling*
The 21 year old soldier - is a ' graduate of Rappahannock County High School. Since his graduation in June he has worked for his father.
