Mrs. Wines told the state troopers that she ran to a neighbor^ house to call for authority shoi before the fire started. She sai that shortly after she reached neighbors house, her husband after her.

She that when she refused! to go home with him, lie told her! you won’t have a home to go to| tomorrow. " Wines ran to a near by neighbors, house, the home °f Rufus Williams and broke the lach off the door and said to William my house is on fire, 1 need a place to hide. Wines was caught several hours later; in the woods near by

The alarm was turned in at 10:15 the Front Jt«M and Flint Hill Fire companies were at the fire, but were unable to save the house, However they did save the house near by owned by Kenneth Priest.
