M y 31, Washington, Virginia. For weeks we had planned for it, for days we had decorated—and at - last evryth’ng was all set for the Junior— School Prom. It should be1 known that the prom at Rappahannock is really an occasion! It is the1, only formal dance we have the entire year, so it isn't hard to imagine the excitement we 1 all felt as the time grew nearer. We, the Juniors had really made an effort to mate a lasting impression on our old Seniors- I think we did! . The music was by the Ambassadors from" Lura^, and- they did1"' i* great job. The gymnasium, de- J corated with silver and blue, based on the theme. Drifting And Drea. ming, was lovely. It was well . worth the hours of hard work to see the finished product that night. By 8:30 p. m. the gym was full of glowing Juniors and Seniors (With their dates.) The usually plain and sloppy teenagers that ■ med into .'ladies and gentlemen. • v
In all, the prom.was a great: seen around school were transfer— success. Everyone had a fine time,., and we shall never forget the night of the prom in ’58.
