LEBANON (FHTNC—Charity D. Dwyer, chief engineman, USN, of Route 1, Sperryville, Va, was aboard the attack cargo snip USS Capricornus when she reembarked the 2nd Battalion of the 2nd Marine Regiment from Beirut. Lebanon August 13.
The battalion will remain aboard ship in the Mediterranean area and will in part, re-constitute the striking power of the 6th Fleet’s Amphibious Force. > The Marines, who landed Jy!y 15, wil be reembarked aboard ship; of Transport Amphibious Squadron 6,-commanded by Capt. yictor B. Me Crea, USN, of University' Park, Pa. Other ships of the squadron are: the amphibious flag ship USS Taconic, the attack transport ship USS Monrovia, the dock landing ship USS Plymouth Rock, and the tank landing ship USS Walworth County.
