Rappahannock County High School girls softbull wrapped up its regular season with a 16-0 win over George Mason on 5-13-08. The Lady Panthers ended the Bull Run regular season with a 7-3 record in u tie with Clarke County for 2nd place. The Lady Panthers won the tie breaker and ended up in 2nd place. Madison County won the regulur season title for 1st place and with the Panthers in 2nd place.they both got a 1st round bye in the Bull Run District.
In the Bull Run District Tourney semi final on 5-21 - 08 the Panthers hosted at home the # 3 seed Clarke County Eagles. The Panthers scored first in the 1st inning with Clarke com ing buck in the 3rd with a run to tie it I t. Clarke came back in the 5th with a single und 2 double to score i, the go ahead runs to lead 32. The Panthers couldn’t recover to score and lost all its hopes to advance back to
