Katherine Waltz was born in Pittsburg Penn. Jan. 15,1837 anddied at Anona, Texas, April29 1911. Her parents moved to Keokuk Co Iowa iu pioneer days, where she was married to Henry Conklin .Tan. 19, 1856. To this union two sons and five daughters were born. Three daughters and one son survive her. Her coinpauion passed on before her Aug. 9, 1905, sincc which she has made her home most of the time with her children, having been with her daughter, Mrs. Persing the past year,
