Thirteen carloads of stock were shipped out over the A. N. & 8. BySaturday. The Elkhorn shippers were Petersen & Co., Geo. N. Christensen and Chris N. Christensen, Q*o Petersen and the Christensen Bros, accompanied the live stock to Chicago markets. The train however had some bad luck before getting into Atlantic with stock as one car was derailed at Hansen Heights delaying the train about three hours.
