Dick Huntington was seated at his desk, looking over the mail.
Dick was president of one of the largest clothing stores in Chicago. He had begun as errand boy and had been gradually promoted until, at the last meeting of the board of directors, Ire was elected president. Shortly after taking the office of president, he shifted Robert Patterson, one of the floor walkers, to the position of assistant manager and purchasing agent.
