On the 13th, after about an hour's absence, the jury returned a verdict of guilty on all the counts against O'Dohovan Rossa. The Attor ney-General called the attention of the Court to the fact that the prisoner had pleaded guilty to a similar indictment in 1850. In reply to the usual question, if he had anything to say why sentence ahould not be passed upon him, the prisoner said he expected no other result, as the Crown had reserved documents necessary for his defence, packed the jury and the bench.
Justice Keogh said he would not allow such observations.
