Fair. Walton Anderson, of Cul len. a student at Worsham High School, and Wesley Booker, of Cumberland, a student at Luther Jackson High School, were the recipients of the fret trips. Wal ton is a member of the Future Farmers of America and W r sham 4-H Club, and Wesley is a member of the Negro Farmers of America. Other persons who attended the show from this area w&re Earl Morris, of Andersonville; Weslev Dunkum. Jr., of Dillwyii: Alfred Spillman, of Cumberland: Charles Joyce, cf Cumberland: Edgar Brisentine. of Prospect: and E R Spillman, manager of the imple ment department of Brickert Oil Company. Charlie Elliott, of Campbell; M. J. Edwards, of Cumberland: and John Lancaster. Prince Edward farm agent, were other Negroes who made the trip to the show in Pennsylvania. Those attending the farm show saw the Pennsylvania State Trac tor Driving C ntest, Thursday night. They also saw exhibitions of farm products from'Pennsyl vania and national exhibitions of farm machinery. Pennsylvania Stnt<’ Farm Show is one of the largest exhibitions of farm equipment/ and farming methods in the United States. One of the exhibition buildings covers 14 acres.
