Lion Shepherd served his coun try during World War II. and throughout the time lie lived in Farmville. he entered wholeheart edly in all phases of community life including the religious, civic and business life of Farmville. We record his passing with a sense of keen sorrow but shall long remember his kind and con siderate friendship and shall deeply and truly miss the presence of a worthy Lion and a lovable character. BE IT RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be spread on a separate page in the Minute Book of this Club: that one copy be published in the Farmville Herald and another be sent to his surviving widow, to whom wC i xteud our smeerest and deepest sympathy.
