Miss Frances Morris and John Morris. Jr. spent Sunday in Richmond with Mr and Mis. William Morris, who have announced the birth of n daughter, Linda Holmes Morris. Dr and Mrs. J. C Hill have re turned to Columbia. S. C, after a two week visit in the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Dorsey at their farm on Route 20 near Seottsville. The Rev. and Mrs. Jack B Tay 1 or entertained the Seottsville High School faculty at dinner Monday night before' PTA meet ing. Guests included. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Allison. Robert Maidment,; Harry Kent. Miss Sarah Walton. Mrs. Josephine Magnifico. Tom H Gillis, Miss Katherine Tindall and Mrs. Lois Parrish. Mrs. T. E. Bruce returned to her home here the first of the week after being in University of' Virginia Hospital with a broken, ankle, the result of a fall at home j last Friday. Mrs. Milton Cohen has been in New’ York for several days on business.
