Cumberland Churches To Join for Week’s Preaching Mission An Interdenominational Preach ing Mission will be held in the Cumberland village beginning Sunday. Feb 8. and continuing throughout the week. This meet ing will be sponsored by the three denominations. Baptist Presbyte rians. and Methodist churches, with invited ministers of each respective church doing the preaching. The Rev. Richard Powell, a .stu dent in the Graduate School of Union Theological Seminar y. Richmond, Va.. the Rev. Joseph A. Wagnon. a pastor in the North Carolina Methodist Conference, and Dr J B Hill. Executive Secretary of the Baptist Sunday Board of Virginia will be the guest ministers. The Sunday evening- service will be held in Center Presbyterian Church. Monday evenin'; and con tinuing through the week, serv ices will be held in the Cumber land High School auditorium. All services will be at 8 o’clock, and the public is invited.
