Whenever Mr. Pollard is asked what part he plays in the antique shop and his wife's weaving, he smiles and says I've retired ' But. that smile means that hi retirement meant some time to dn things that he wanted—such as antiquing. Recently. Mrs. Pollard came to Farmvillc to speak to girls in the tenth grade home economics class at the high school Her talk was a lesson taken from experience in hobbies and recreation.
