James W. Jenkins, age 13, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Jenkins-* of ,tV F. T. Valley, suffered a broken leg when he fell from a — swing on the play ground of tV Sperryville Elementary School on Friday September 6. He was taken to the University Hospital, Charlottesville by the Washington Rescue Squad.
In an investigation of tV ac- - cident^ James stated that he was^ “swinging too high /and making the swing jump.” Examination of the play ground equipment showed it in good condition.
The accident is covered by i, school Insurance.
Mrs. Mary B. Quaintan-e . Principal of the School, wishes to thank the Washington Rescue < Squad for their promptness in an swing the call. “They handled tV , accident ina most efficeent matt ner”, she said.
