Mr. arid Mrs. J. E. Ellmore i entertained. with open house .Wednesday September" 4 in honor of the fiftieth wedding anniversary of Mrs. Ellmore’s parents, Mr. and "Mrs. Edgar Pullen.
The table was decorated with marigolds and zinnias arranged by Mrs,,# W. G. Hall and a large <r tiered wedding cake lettred in gold was served with fruit punch.
Present were Mr. and Mrs. Pullen's children ^and families, Mr. and Mrs. Wade Pullen arid daughters Mary Frances and Alice Virginia, Mr. Herbert Pullen and . Mr. Hadwood Pullen. Relatives and friends included ■ Mr. and .Mrs. Wade H. Massie. Jr.. Mrs. W/.C. Hall land grandson Philip . Kuhn, Mr. arid Mrs. Will Brady, Mr. and Mrs. Horace P.ullen, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pullen. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Atkins, J. Wc Pullen. Horace Pullen, Jr„ Eddie 1, i 1 l.a r d and Clavburn Kuhn. Sir. and Mrs. Pullen received " many gifts and well wishes. Since their marriage they have lived in the same place and Mr. Pullen has been employed bv Mr. Massie.
