School officials have decided not to close the schools in Rappahannock as the flu situation seems to be improving.

Reports as of November 6th showed a number of children out for several days, back in school.

At the Rappahannock High School there were 66 absent with 22 grade children out. Sperryville had 72 absent (20SJ-) with two teachers out. At Forest Grove both' teachers are out and 41 children absent. 27\<ere present. At Flint Hill all the teachers are present w*fh yV7r of th<- pupils out.

Several of the bus drivers are sick.
