Conference Day November 15th
Friday November 15th is being observed in all the schools in Rappahannock County as ParentTeacher Conference Day. The Teachers feel that much good can be done by teachers and parents discussing the problems of students so are inviting all parents to come to the school between the hours of 9 :3() to 3:30.
Local Girl Sails For
Okinawa
Mrs. Karl Brickcr and small daughters, Zinn Iconise and Lurena Jean, left Monday November 1 1 for Fort Mason, California and will sail from there on November 18 on The General E. D. Patrick for Okinawa where they will join Sgt. Bricker who is sfa. tinned there with the Army for three vears.
Thev will arrive in Okinawa on Dcember S.
This is Mrs, Bricker’s second trip abroad. She spent two years previously in Germany. The children wre both born there.
Mrs. Bricker is the former Helen Zinn of Amissville and has been staying with her parents, Mr. end Mrs. C. C. Zinn. .
