Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brovin, Jr, and children of Charlottesville were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. R- Brown at Rock Vilja. Mrs. Mildred Thornton, mother* of Mrs. Brown, Jr. joined them on Sunday for dinner at tjre Brown home.
Mr. and Mrs. P. I-ee Thorntrjn are in St. Petersburg, Florida f<j>r a visit with Mrs. W. A. Stevens, They will also visit other points of interest in the south before returning to Spejryville. During their absence Lee III is spendin ; the time with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Brown.
Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Cordl^ who spent the eekend with Mr! and Mrs.' Thos. J. Pillar in Jenkins Hollow returned to Norfolk Monday accompanied by Mrs. Thos, Morrow who has been the guest of her son-in-law and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Pillar.
Mr. and Mrs. David V. Chap.j man are spending this week inj Richmond witht their son and daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. j D. V. Chapman. Jr. who drove up on Sunday to accompany them j on the return trip. They were j joined in the Chapman home Sunday afternoon bv Mrs. W. F. Jones and her daughter of Front Roval for a visit.
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Johnson of Baltimore, Md. spent the week end at the Lee Highway Hotel.
